Job Description:
The Pharmacy Cashier is a vital member of the pharmacy team responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing transactions at the checkout counter. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a courteous manner.
- Scan and ring up items accurately using the pharmacy’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Process payments by cash, credit/debit cards, and insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Verify prescription information and insurance coverage for prescription medications.
- Provide information to customers about pharmacy products, services, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking merchandise and removing expired products.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to resolve customer issues or concerns.
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

Qualifications:
